A man has been taken into police custody following an incident in Richmond earlier today.
According to a Richmond RCMP news release, a man reportedly barricaded himself in the area of the 7600 block of Moffatt Road (near Blundell and Gilbert roads) earlier this afternoon.
The area has now been cleared, and police thanked members of the public for their cooperation.
